Innovative Joins Textron's FCS Team

Wilmington, MA - Innovative Applied Sciences this month secured a spot on the Textron Defense Systems Future Combat Systems team.

Future Combat Systems (FCS) is a is an Army modernization initiative designed to link soldiers to a wide range of weapons, sensors, and information systems by means of a mobile ad hoc network architecture. FCS systems will enable unprecedented levels of joint interoperability, shared situational awareness and the ability to execute highly synchronized mission operations.

Innovative is supporting Textron to develop Urban and Tactical Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS) for FCS.

"Textron is looking for Innovative Applied Sciences to bring in-depth knowledge of real-time system development on resource constrained platforms." according to Michael J. Prevost, Innovative's CEO. "We are committed to supporting this strategic program and client through development, field testing, and spin out to FCS Brigades."
